I just skimmed through this video earlier today on Jay Leno’s site, hoping to see your car. I obviously skimmed through too fast because I missed it! I have really enjoyed watching this build since it was first featured on BaT and am looking forward to you next project. Keep up the good work!

What a wondeful job documenting the restoration of this awesome race car! I’m especially proud to finally see my fathers wonderful work on restoring the lettering,…amazing! My Father Phil Manning is an amazing man and I love him dearly. I migrated to North Carolina 16 years ago and love it here but miss my dad. Thank you again for posting all his hard work. I’m sure he loved every minute of the work.

My heart has been with you during this journey that you have taken with my fathers car. The dreams of more then just two men have been fulfield. The the friend who race side by side with him in that car. Spent time talking about the sport they loved and wish he could sit and talk to him now of those days gone by. A man who has been long gone and who loved to race. A child who watch her father race with pride. Who miss’s him and wishes he could be here to see all that Shaun has done out of respect not only for the history of the car but for the man who drove her. She can feel the pride he would have knowing that someone thinks that his car is important enuff to be restore back to the last time he raced it. It is hard to find the words to let you know what this means to all of us but time will let you know what good you have done. This car has touch so many lives from the time my dad first clambed into her to race, was put aside, an old friend buys her, and now she lives again with a man who respectes who she is. Good Morning,I am the Baby of My other Two Sister the oldest who have a the plesure of talking with on the phone Veronica and then is my middle sister was virginia we were all Virgo’s too..I notice there is a sight about my Father and i click on the Pictures and they have none. I would love to see some pics maybe you could post them on line… I know my sister has all his gear and old pics and the booklet from the races. I know that his wife Nancy has his ashes..I always wanted to have his ashes around the track in his car. He truley love to race.. I remember I had that sticker of the poem on my dresser and had it on there for maybe 40years and finally from all the moves and my daughter used my old bedroom furniture it just fell off… I knew that race poem by heart… I want to say Thank-you!!! For GOD to have you where u are today to have the ability to buy my father’s old car…..Be Blessed!!! Valerie

It is like reading a great novel you can’t put it down you wait to see what going to happen next.
I especially like the picture of you at night loading the car. And the night pictures of you leaving the track

shaun with the weights you are showing on the rear you better tip toe easy into the left turns because you are heavy on the outside which will result in the front digging in creating a wash out of the rear– i dont see the front weights so i will leave it as is on that but other than that you got the old gal looking good in the neighborhood
